Hahahah! I only really use 3, but I wanted to talk about what I have used. I think it's important to know what these products are all about. The styling powder I use is by Schwarzkopf, Bedhead makes one as well. They also may call the powder root powder or texturing powder.
Great video! You are so cute. :) I rely on hair spray to keep my sleek styles in place here in the windy desert. I've been using Frizz-Ease and it flakes terribly, so I switched to something by Nexxus... No flaking, but the smell is SO strong!!! I'm going to try the Bedhead.
Aww shucks thank you :) The smell of something is the deal breaker for me, I also use Bedhead shampoo and I love the smell and product as well. I am just realizing now how much I use their products! Hahahaha! I think you will enjoy the strength of the Bedhead Hard Head :)
The powder sounds really neat and I definitely want to try and find a teasing brush now as I have unsuccessfully been using a comb this whole time! But! I have soooo many questions....my hair is a pain in the arse! Its really long and heavy although not that thick anymore.... But anytime I try to tease it for big goth hair - nothing works! Products just make my hair greasey and crunchy and I can't get my hair to back-comb...it just falls flat and ends up being tangled and ratty looking along with flat.... On top of that, my bangs won't mind me either! I cut my hair into the V-shape....but one side of my bangs are thinner on hair (I think its a cowlick because I keep pulling more hair forward) and no matter how many times I cut or comb over hair to accommodate that, they still won't sit right..... Do you have any advice for me? O_o If so (or not), thank you!!!!
Thank you for your kind words and I LOVE your name, hehehee!
Give the Small Talk by Bedhead a try, is will 'bulk' up your hair, texturing powder at the roots (use a little!), back comb your roots and spray with hair spray (use the strong stuff!)
Here is a nice video of what I *believe* is Miss Natalie of the blog GothyTwoShoes :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPuTPe36kqw Her technique of of sectioning, teasing and spraying is what I wanted to highlight.
As far as long hair, I would look up videos specially how to back comb long hair. If you have layers, it may help with the overall style and keep the hair at attention rather than weighing it down.
Here is another cool video. http://youtu.be/WMwTIvbiS7M
Everyone's technique is different, but that's okay! =D Good luck! :) Thanks for watching and reading!
Those videos are great!! Thank you so much! I especially loved the first one....I'm going to try to tease it again and see if I have any better luck ;)
Wow, that's a lot of products!! I've never heard of styling powder ... I'll have to google it to see if I can get it here ;)
