You May Have Seen It All

Hello friends! We are back from our little Cleveland trip and we had a nice time! I'm sure there will be photos and stories to come, but I wanted to say....I think you may have seen it all. What I am referring to is my outfits. I know it's not something that us bloggers don't want to admit, but I'm pretty sure I'm tapped out. I wish I didn't sound so blunt and realistic, as I'm not a sponsored blogger or Youtuber that gets things gifted to them. I don't do haul's, I don't go on shopping spree's and I don't use credit cards for clothing. I'm just being honest and hoping I don't get too boring. Hahaha!!! I'll try and keep it interesting. *Wink*

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Thank you for reading, until next time!

XOXO-Meagan Kyla

  1. That's a GOOD thing! I don't mind seeing the same things again, you're so creative with your poses, your hair, your life that it keeps it fresh and I keep wanting more! <3

  2. Time to turn your drapes into outfits. XD

  3. I love how honest this post is, some people waste money for the next outfit post and not everyone can go around spending on new stuff, or like you said not everyone receive gifts to wear. Anyhow cute outfit, I'm a new follower so I haven't seen it all.

  4. Nothing wrong with showing off different combinations with the same stuff. I know I like seeming same things styled different ways

    1. I do too, yet I think I was letting all the Youtuber haul's (I was watching a lot at work last week) get to me. Hahaha!

    2. It always seems so wasteful. Their houses must be overflowing with crap. I saw one girl buy a bunch of cell phone covers. Like ... you have one phone. And it's not going to fit the next gen. Those haul videos are materialism out of control

  5. Hi and greetings from Finland. I have started read your blog at the beginning of this year, so not all clothes are familiar to me. I think is more interesting how many different styles you can create with same shirt etc. So please, continue :)

    1. Hello and thank you, I appreciate your kind words and hanging out with me in my little slice of the internet :)

  6. You could totally try selling some older stuff on depop or other re-sell apps and find cute stuff to trade it for! Like others have mentioned, I love how honest this is. There's nothing wrong with wearing the same outfit twice and tricking people into thinking time travel is real!

    1. That is a great idea! I really love my clothing and have curated it to where I really love the pieces and mix and matching has become a lot easier. I will keep those suggestions in mind if I find items I'm not using :)

  7. Alison took the words of my first thought right out my mouth (err, fingertips?). I don't see that as a negative thing at all. I've been consciously weaving more repeat piece into my looks this year in particular and genuinely enjoy it when I see others do the same with their wardrobes. Objectively, it can feel more realistic because most of us do not sport completely (or even partially) new outfits every day of the year by any means.

I say, try not to worry and just keep on rocking your awesome style with us, repeated pieces and all.

    xoxo ♥ Jessica

    1. Thank you dear Jessica <3 I agree as I also love seeing people's wardrobe styled differently, I believe that's the reality of wardrobe and the art of dressing!

  8. LOL I feel ya sister - especially the whole "not sponsored, no free stuff" situation. But hey, better to have stuff we like that we bought ourselves than a bunch of so-so free stuff!

I always see this as an opportunity to show different ways to re-style and mix up existing stuff! Plus, you're an awesome thrifter/vintage hunter, so you'll have "new" things to show periodically! :)

    1. Thanks doll! I do get offers all the time, but I would never present my friends (aka my readers) with things I'm not 100% on. I was letting all the Youtube videos get to me, making me feel inadequate and that's my own fault and not anyone elses ;)

  9. You are never boring! And I love hearing the things you get up to!

  10. I don't think you can ever get boring Meagan! You are always coming up with fantastic combos and new ways of wearing your clothes! Plus your humor always have me coming back for more! <3

  11. I know exactly how you feel! I often feel the same and then I don't do any outfits until I've thought of a new combination or bought a new piece. But don't worry, I always love seeing your outfits, whether I've already seen (pieces of) them or not.

  12. I know I'm commenting on an old post here, but I'm new to your blog and drooling over your outfits.
Sod the youtubers, you have awesome style, and you're also very bad for my bank balance. Just sayin. :)
