Glad you liked my honesty of my last blog. I guess I was letting all the Youtube haul's, ootd and other various sponsored posts get into my head. Hey, I'm not jealous by any means, I think it's great that people want to share their wardrobe, shoes, etc., it's just not a part of my reality. I allowed the videos make me feel a little inadequate and that's my fault not the other person's. Now I am shaking it off and moving on....
Wearing; black and white puff sleeve striped shirt (thrifted), black swing skirt (Steady Clothing), concho belt and flats (Target). I am also realizing, as I look at these photos, how long my hair is getting. It's sort of crazy!
But wait, this blog post is about more than just clothing....
Some kitsch was procured during our trip to Cleveland, including this poodle to add to the black velvet painting wall! Weird neon green poodle needed to come home with us, pronto. Kitsch. Kitsch. KITSCH! I love our wall-o-velvet, it's in such bad taste, it's good.
I was going to mention something about my pair of hooters....wait, what are you dirty birdie's think I'm referring too?! I am talking about this pair of chalkware owls, not boobies! Hahaha! I think these are going to be added to a wall in our vintage Halloween themed kitchen. I've discovered my appreciate for owls as they can be really creepy and cute, I just don't want to get obsessed as that is my bff's Dani's department. *Wink*
Thank you for reading, until next time!

DeleteLoving the belt it looks sort of medieval.
ReplyDeleteNever thought of a concho belt that way..that's pretty neat! :)
DeleteHaha you are hilarious. The poodle is awesome and your black velvet wall must be so awesome in real life!
ReplyDeleteThanks! We get a lot of positive 'woah's!' from the wall-o-velvet. We do have some other velvet paintings around the room, because we're insane ;)
DeleteXD stop the owls - lately i feel as they appear everywhere (as soon as i found out about two workmates loving them) *lol* yours do look cute though ^^
ReplyDeleteOh yes, they are EVERYWHERE, but chalkware ones are gleefully excepted into my home and the other ones will have to wait their turn. LOL, I don't know what I'm saying, I need more coffee.
DeleteI remember having a belt like that in the 80s. Ah...the 80s... :)
ReplyDeleteI want to 80s all the time, 80s all the timmmmeeee!! LOL!
DeleteYes! "It's so bad it's good" is definitely how I feel about kitsch side of Halloween lol. I completely understand it.
ReplyDeleteLove me some concho belts-- living in areas dominated by "cowboys and cowgirls" up North and down South there is plenty to pick from lol.
Luckily girl!!!
