My Favorite Type Of Outfit

The question is, how many Peter Pan collar items do I need in my closet? The answer, all of them. I totally dig 60s-esque fashion (pinterest inspiration board) and I just can't control myself when I see a little black dress with a white collar.

Wearing; sleeveless black & white collar dress (hottopic.com) with long sleeve t-shirt layered underneath, haunted house cardigan (Hell Bunny via Cats Like US) striped leggings (Sourpuss Clothing), boots (6pm.com).

I've got to give mega props to this little dress, it really comfortable, lightweight and I really love that the neckline is up higher than most of my other Peter Pan collared garments. I'm looking forward to wearing this little dress in the warmer months, as I have a feeling it's going to be a summer favorite.

My favorite type of outfit!!!

Hmmm I really don't know what's the type of outfit I like the most.. But it has to include a super short skirt, like always! :'')

  6. Soooo cute! That cardigan is at the top of my HB wishlist.

Good question! I think my favourite type of outfit is ultimately one in which I feel completely comfortable and like myself. Just what that entails varies, but frequent players are shirtwaist dresses, a wide array of skirts, fitted blazers, cardigans, vintage hats, sensible heels, and cute and/or elegant jewelry.

  7. I love black dress with white collars, I have four and counting. The only problem I am starting to notice some of the collar are getting dingy either from my hair dye or just washing. How do you keep your collars white?

    1. Hrmmm, mine haven't gotten dingy. I suggest watching on cold water and maybe using a stain stick right before washing? I know there are oxyclean and those type of products that are supposed to work with detergents to 'boost' the cleanliness of the garments, but I have not tried any....sorry I couldn't be more help!

  8. That's a great dress! I love the whole outfit! And if that cardigan should disappear from your closet, it wasn't me who hired the Sweater Burglar. ;)

  10. Cute! I love the striped tights and that awesome cardigan! My favourite kind of outfit is simple all black with interesting shoes, statement jewellery, and a bold lipstick. I enjoyed your Pinterest board; I have been trying to put together some 60's meets goth outfits lately....
