Doing a presentation at work, so I wanted to look my best.
Yep. Temporary blonde, which is funny since I am a natural blonde and I feel very odd. I haven't had blonde hair in over 5 years, but I thought it would be fun to have a few days to see if I wanted to stick with it.
The verdict: Nope. The purple will be coming back. I also decided to bleach and tone my hair back to a blonde as the last re-purpling turned out terrible and I needed a fresh canvas to start the process over again. I hate the upkeep, but in the long run it's worth it.
Derek and I had a lot of fun making Dutch Paint Boy jokes, so naturally I had to pose for a picture.
I don't hate my blonde hair, but I'm not ready to go back.....just yet.

ReplyDeleteI actually think the blonde looks pretty good, especially with that dress, it just completely matches the whole feel of the outfit. I feel like hair colour is an almost constant work in progress for me. In between changes I find myself saying this on the defensive for no reason lol

ReplyDeleteMeagan, may I ask you about your hair? Do you only bleach or do you use also some gray/purple/blue shampoo to keep it platinum? Would you mind to say some tips?

I bleached when I went from lavender to blonde. My upkeep is using a highlight neutral base blonde hair color mixed with 20 volume developer. I also use a shampoo (ShimmerLights) and conditioner to help keep the blonde fresh and toned. :)
