My favorite drapey sweater is gone. I looked every where and I am accepting the fact that it is gone. I think I left it somewhere by mistake and I'm mourning its loss. Silly, I know, but I loved that darn thing and the more I wore it the more distressed and awesome it became. I will miss you old friend, nothing can replace you.

Noooo!!! :( The worst! It really REALLY sucks when you have relied on such a trusty and versatile piece for so long. That has happened to me and I was genuinely upset. I hope you are able to find something similar soon. Hope the rest of your day goes better! <3

DeleteI don't think you will have a hard time finding a replacement. Every women of every age loves that type of sweater. Maybe QVC?

ReplyDeleteLosing clothes is the worst!!! When I can't find something I write it on a small paper note and put it on my bulletin board. Once I do that, the whatever is missing randomly shows up again. Maybe the little clothes goblins know you're on to them when they see the note? Weird little superstition of mine :)
ReplyDeleteAw, that sucks big time!!! I am very attached to many thing in my closet so I understand. I thought that maybe this post would be about the sweater finally wearing out which is an equally sad fate for closet favourites. I am sure you checked everywhere but I have often found "lost" items of clothing that I hadn't seen for months in my husband's drawers or folded up in towels or sheets in the linen closet (I am pretty lax when it comes to sorting/folding the laundry lol).
