I'm a fashion blogger who gets frustrated shopping (for myself) and doesn't get excited about fast fashion. I know, it makes no sense. I don't have an unlimited budget and I don't have a giant wardrobe, so there will be (and has been) repeats.

I'm not complaining, these are just facts. When I get pieces that I love, I pretty much wear them to death and try to mix and match as much as possible.

I am the same type of shopper as you are. That is a very lovely outfit, by the way. I took inspiration from one of your posts where you wore a pleated skirt and sort of a bolero type sweater. I wore something sort of similar yesterday. It was a shorter pleated skirt, a black tank type and my neon green leopard print bolero. I combined these with a plain pair of black tights and my platforms. i got so many compliments :) I wear these pieces often but never together. It is funny how mix-matching can change a whole outfit

DeleteI don't have closets in my apartment, so I wear the same few outfits everyday, lol. I tend to get accessories to vary my looks since they don't take up as much space. Love the look btw

DeleteI feel like with my sudden rise in disposable income and the absurd amount of shopping I do, I can never find pieces that I truly fall in love with anymore. I miss the days when I would fall in love with something, spend weeks saving for it and then wear it every single day until it falls apart. :/

I think we've all gone through what you are. Enjoy yourself, but don't get yourself into debt (Just advice from someone who was swimming in debt due to fashion ;) )
DeleteI LOVE having pieces in my wardrobe that I can use in multiple outfits. I think it is fun to style old favourites in new ways! I often end up buying things that I like that really don't work with anything I have at the time. It is the best feeling in the world when I finally find the right pieces for an outfit and things from my closet can come out and see the light of day!!
