The weather was so wonderful on Tuesday that I had to make myself look nice for no reason at all, perhaps I just want to bask in what's left of this lovely Buffalo autumn before the cold hand of winter is upon us.
I took my camera and tripod outside, to take advantage of the weather and our lovely courtyard. I always feel a little weird snapping photos of myself when others could be looking, "I have a blog, I'm not that vain!"-or so I want to proclaim. Hahaha!
You will see I paired the XRay Doll Parts Dress very differently then in my Creepy Cocktail Blog. I'm wearing the dress over a short sleeve collared shirt, a little button front sweater, and leggings with slouch socks and little buckle boots (which I got for $11 on Target's website some months back). My striped Rosie Scarf is my newest addition to my hair scarf and Dungaree Dolly collections. I feel so comfy!
Thanks for reading!

What a nice outfit! A little bit gothabilly, a little bit casual. I love the skirt and its skull/ribcage pattern. But my favourite item here is those boots; they're probably the less goth item of your outfit, but it's not easy to find nice everyday boots. These ones are really pretty :)
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with black boots!
DeleteOh my gosh! Lady, you look absolutely beautiful! I love that dress on you -- perfect for a casual, fun, beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely! I was feeling good that day and your comment makes me smile (as usual) :)
DeleteIt's an adorable outfit - and what a beautiful courtyard! :o)
ReplyDeleteThe courtyard has a gazebo, I'll have to feature it my photos in the future ;) Thank you!

DeleteThat dress is so lovely! And the boots! I wish Australian shops had the same shoes as American ones, we never seem to get the nice ones.
ReplyDeleteI find things in the most unassuming places, I do get frustrated where I live and have to sorta settle from time to time. Good luck! :)
Deletenot to sound like a freak, but i wish we could hang out! <3
ReplyDeleteAwwww shucks, you're really sweet! You don't sound like a freak, hehe!

ReplyDeleteLove this look! I could wear this to work. I now need to find myself a short sleeved collared shirt to wear under MY dresses! Thanks for the inspiration!
