Outfit Featuring Tiki Head Brooch by Babe Gang Patches

I am celebrating the weather change and the fact that I don't have to wear 12 layers of clothing. WOOHOOO! It's also nice to have the choice of taking outfit photos outside, even if it's in my sad sparse backyard. I have a black thumb, so late year we pulled up most of the plants to make way for a rock garden in the corner by the fence, with a possible water feature. We would like to make the backyard an extension of our own Tiki oasis.

Wearing; sleeveless swing dress (Forever 21), leopard blazer (Wet Seal), leggings (Sourpuss Clothing), black crystal necklace (flea market find), boots (Dr. Martens), Tiki Head Brooch (Babe Gang Patches)

I love this blazer, it has appeared on the blog many, many, MANY times. My Mom bought it for me as a treat several years ago when she came back to Buffalo for a visit. It was cute since while I was trying it on at the store and she was just smiling from ear to ear. Awww, Mom! We've been shopping buddies for years, even though sometimes we argue. Hehe!

Thank you for reading, until next tome!

XOXO-Meagan Kyla

  3. I ideal weather conditions are when it's not too hot and not too cold. Like today. It's nice and a little breezy.

  4. The blazer is not my style, but it looks awesome on you :). I love everything else from the outfit, specially the pendant (I have almost a dozen) and the dress.

    Kisses :D

    1. Thank you. I think it's always great when people can appreciate something that is not their style, but works for someone else :)

  5. That is one seriously great blazer. I love how the leopard print is a bit more subdued and mellow, if that makes sense, than some of the more pronounced versions out there - almost like it takes your brain a sec to realize its an animal pattern at first.

Three cheers for the return of blog photo conducive weather!

    1. I know what you mean about the leopard print. I have to say I tend to lean more towards 60s leopard print, like my bathing suit:
